For Organizations
Safain acts as a data processor. You own your data, we just host it securely.
For Individuals
Your mosque is the data controller. Contact them for access requests.
Roles & Responsibilities
Safain acts as a data processor for customer organizations. Each mosque or institution is the data controller for the people they manage in the CRM.
Data We Process
- Account details: Name, email, password hash.
- Contact records: Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, notes.
- Financial data: Donation and Gift Aid records where enabled.
- Security logs: Session IP addresses and user agents.
Subprocessors
We use trusted subprocessors to provide our service. A current list is provided in our Data Processing Addendum.
- AWS: Cloud hosting and infrastructure.
- Stripe: Payment processing and identity verification.
- Google Places: Address autocomplete.
- Postmark/AWS SES: Transactional email delivery.
Your Rights
If you are a data subject (a person whose data is in Safain), please contact the organization that collected your data directly. Safain assists controllers with access, export, and deletion requests.
